Office & Work Space 

Christchurch Community House provides a number of tenancy options to meet the diverse needs of our members.  

We specialise in providing affordable shared facilities and resources for the smaller community group (up to 5 staff members).  In our experience it is these groups that benefit most from sharing resources.

All of the options listed here are exclusively offered to our members (subject to availability and in some cases a selection process).  Most not-for-profit charitable trusts would meet our membership criteria. 

Private Office Space

  • Dedicated private office space.  
  • Number of room sizes available from 9m2 to 30m2
  • All offices are air-conditioned with individual climate controls.
  • Cabled for internet and phone.
  • All tenants have access to shared resources including:

Open Plan Office Space

  • Join 28 other not-for-profits in our central city premises.
  • Number of options available from 9m2 to 20m2 

Office Share (Walled/Open Plan)

If your not for profit group does not need access to a full time office because of cost, workload or the nature of your work then why not consider office sharing? This is a great way to keep costs down and can be offered in open plan or private office space.

Virtual Office

Entry level tenancy suitable for small organisations that perhaps cannot afford a full time office. Virtual Office provides a presence in the House without an office.  Virtual Office Holders can use CCH as their mailing address, work from a hot desk, meet clients on site, and utilise CCH’s shared reception as well as access all our other services. Depending on the package selected, virtual office users are able to have:

  • A pigeon hole
  • The advantage of using 301 Tuam Street as your postal address
  • Your organisation's name plate on the directory board (optional - additional setup cost applies)
  • Access to meeting rooms, Interview Rooms & Hot Desks on a booking basis
  • The ability to store some material onsite
  • Access to all other shared resources within the building

Storage Space

A limited amount of lockable storage space on a permanent or casual basis is available for community groups.
