What does your organisation do?

We support, promote & uphold the integrity of volunteering. We help those who want to volunteer find roles, and we work with organisations to find great volunteers for their needs. At any one time we have over 220 available volunteer roles at www.volcanmatch.com. Search by category (such as IT, conservation, mentoring, driving) or location (suburb). All the roles are with Volunteering Canterbury member organisations: not-for-profits in the region.

Your main mission:

To enable the successful employment of volunteers by not-for-profit organisations, and promote the benefits of volunteering to people and communities.

Can you tell us about your team?

Glenda joined Volunteering Canterbury in 2012 as the Outreach and Marketing Manager. Glenda speaks to groups about volunteering – making new connections, gaining new skills, enhancing CVs; and also to organisations about the management of volunteers.

How can people get in contact with your organisation?
The best way to get us is either through Facebook or on our website!
