Meet our Board
Glenda Martin
Chairperson Glenda considers she was very privileged to discover the Christchurch Community House whānau, as a ‘bonus’ when she joined the team of Volunteering Canterbury in 2012. Passionate about community - and the wellbeing of those within it, in addition to her role with the CCH Trust, Glenda is the President of Hearing Support Christchurch, South Island regional representative on the Board of Hearing New Zealand and a JP. Glenda has two adult children who (for the most part!) have now left the ‘nest’ which she shares with her service dog, Kobe, and rescue cat, Ruby. Other interests include fitness and good health, alongside continuing study and exploring NZ and beyond. |
Lynette Crestani
Board Member Lynette has and is involved in numerous non-profit governance roles and is excited to be on the Christchurch Community House Trust. She is fortunate to be working for an organisation based at CCH and has experienced first-hand the caring supportive relationships that develop here in the house. Lynette has a Diploma of Teaching ECE and has been a business owner for 20 years. In her spare time, she enjoys tramping, biking and walking in the outdoors, gardening, supporting great charitable causes and catching up with friends. |
Ian Walden
Board Member Ian has been a Certified Financial Planner for 22 years, providing investment advice to a wide range of New Zealanders including 17 years for the Christchurch Community House. Ian is strong on values and keeping it simple despite the complex investment world we live in. Ian and his wife have 6 wonderful children and a growing number of grandchildren. |

Gabrielle Lilleyman
Board Member Gabby has been involved with StarJam for nearly 2 years and before that worked for the Graeme Dingle Foundation for over 3 years. She feels privileged to be a part of the Christchurch Community House seeing how other organisations are helping the community. Gabby has a diploma in advanced exercise prescription and enjoys the gym, yoga and pilates. Getting out in nature to walk her dog, Quincy, and learning about all things wellness is what she loves. |
