Meet our Board
Glenda Martin
Chairperson Glenda considers she was very privileged to discover the Christchurch Community House whānau, as a ‘bonus’ when she joined the team of Volunteering Canterbury in 2012. Passionate about community - and the wellbeing of those within it, in addition to her role with the CCH Trust, Glenda is the President of Hearing Support Christchurch, South Island regional representative on the Board of Hearing New Zealand and a JP. Glenda has two adult children who (for the most part!) have now left the ‘nest’ which she shares with her service dog, Kobe, and rescue cat, Ruby. Other interests include fitness and good health, alongside continuing study and exploring NZ and beyond. |
Lynette Crestani
Board Member Lynette has and is involved in numerous non-profit governance roles and is excited to be on the Christchurch Community House Trust. I am fortunate to be working for an organisation based at CCH and have experienced first-hand the caring supportive relationships that develop here in the house. I have a Diploma of Teaching ECE and have been a business owner for 20 years. I enjoy the outdoors – tramping, biking, and walking, gardening, supporting great charitable causes and catching up with friends. |
Steve Glen
Board Member
Steve has been on the board with a Christchurch Primary school along with being a committee member for various sporting groups and would like to bring some of this experience to this role.
Steve has served on the board for two terms with the CCH Trust Board and looks forward to working with his fellow board members to improve the workspace and facilities for current and future tenants.
